Cisco WebEx is the most popular Cisco exam for IT professionals. This exam has been out for many years. It is good training material that will teach the basic information needed for Cisco CCNA or CCIE certifications. The materials covered in the exam are broken down into three main topics: Web Security, Wireless Security and routing policy. Here is a breakdown of the topics covered in Cisco WebEx testing.

Web security has been one of the most debated topics among CCNA and CCIE professionals. Much of the discussion centers on what type of firewall is best used for your particular needs. Some experts say you should not even use a basic firewall if you want to be successful at the exam. If you can afford it, then you should use a more expensive and state of the art firewall. Most experts recommend you use a layer two firewall for your Cisco WebEx testing.

Wireless security has been around for some time, but is still a very hot topic during the exam. The different types of wireless devices are Windows and Wi-Fi. You can purchase a Wi-Fi repeater to get around some of the problems with wireless security. The different security levels include encryption, authentication and integrity. It covers the same topics found in the Web Security topic, just with different levels of complexity and requiring higher amounts of knowledge to understand. There is also an optional extra curriculum for the exam that covers wireless device management and troubleshooting.

The routing policy area of the exam is pretty simple and not complicated. This area covers logical requirements, configuration, alerts and reporting. The physical configuration area of the Cisco WebEx test is more difficult. This includes configuration of network devices such as routers and hubs. The additional material covered on the second floor study site exam includes server area requirements and configuration, backup management, and virtual private networks.

The study site exam covers four topics and these are installation, diagnosing, maintaining, and upgrading Cisco equipment. The topics are not that difficult and are typical of what you would find on most any other Cisco exams. In fact, the topics covered on the second floor exam are identical to those that you would find on any other Cisco exams.

The second thing you should know about the CCNA or CCDA is that the CCNA exam can be taken several times before you pass it. This means you should spend the extra time studying for this certification! The second thing you should know about the CCDA is that there are no shortcuts to success with this certification. You can either take the CCDA or CCNP tests and then sit for the MCSE or Microsoft Certified Network Associate examination. Both of these exams cover the same information and are very similar.

The only difference between the two exams is that one is made based on theory and one is based on real life experiences. What you will find is that the real-world experience questions on the CCDA exam cover more practical application and can really give you an edge over other people who are taking the exam for the first time. The nice thing is that the June 6th CCDA Exam site covers a number of related topics and can really help prepare you for the CCNA Exam.

Another nice thing about the CCDA site is that they provide a number of sample test questions and answer guides. The best part about the Cisco WebEx examination is that it covers multiple modules from networking to troubleshooting and everything in between. There are some really great features on the CCDA website including the FAQ section, detailed study guide, and exercise sets. The site also provides an online forum where you can chat with other students who are taking the exam. The 7pm est (2nd floor) exam also has a great review section that includes the CCDA exam objectives and study guide.
